After multiple requests, I've decided I would TRY to start blogging again. This attempt will probably lead to less than interesting posts for the majority, but I took a little time to reread my very first post before I decided to go ahead and try this tonight. After reading, I was reminded why I started blogging in the first place, why I wake up every day, and how I became who I am today, Carson.
I noticed my last post was from the beginning of April, right before our big trip to Disney World for Carson's 5th birthday. Here's a
quick update on how drastically our lives have changed in the last 9 months and a few pictures of my growing boy.
We MOVED and I now get to teach a fabulous group of first graders every day. Carson and I very much enjoy going to school together every day. Carson still loves going to the zoo and despite our distance, we still make it there at least monthly. He's still adamant about the fact that he will work there some day. We're always looking for our next location to visit. We made it to quite a few landmarks this past year, and Carson has chosen Chicago for his 6th birthday extravaganza. (After being in the classroom, I've decided destination birthdays are a million times easier!) Currently, he's missing some of his most near and dear people, G'ma and Papa. Luckily, they're only a phone call away because he asks to make that call daily.
